Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. Ferry County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It is kept within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Ordinary server logs collect technical details when a page loads:

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Ferry County Criminal History does not build, keep, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its content identifies access routes through Ferry County Sheriff, the local courts, Washington State Patrol, and the Washington State Sex Offender Public Registry. Official custodians apply the Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, the Criminal Records Privacy Act, chapter 10.97 RCW, and court rules where relevant. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a file about another person, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search tools. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices rather than this policy. Review those terms before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to courts, sheriff pages, Washington agencies, legal resources, and third-party services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy controls. Its terms should be read before personal details are submitted.
Advertising companies may use their own systems to measure activity across sites and select ads. That tracking is controlled by those companies.

Personal data is not sold. It may be disclosed only to these categories of recipients:
